The Woods

... within 5 minutes of Littleborough village centre, exists a secluded wood that is as magical as it is beautiful.  In the spring it is a carpet of bluebells, with a camping/cooking area in the heart of it, for an outdoor cook out, forest and outdoor learning, therapies and tranquility.

Mindfulness has become the latest buzzword and here you can immerse yourself in nature with very little interference, apart for the abundant wildlife; deer, rabbits, badgers, foxes, squirrels.. not to mention the birdsong and woodpeckers' hammering!  Fortunately most avoid humans, however if you are very still in all likelihood you will find you are not alone in this magical space

The space is around 4/5 acres (areas are restricted during bluebell season to avoid trampling) and can be rented for 1-2 days a week through term time.   Private Car/minibus parking in adjacent area
